LifeLock(R) Named as Finalist in Seven Categories 2008 American Business Awards(SM)

LifeLock®, the industry leader in identity theft protection, was named a finalist today in seven categories for The 2008 American Business Awards.

Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” (New York Post , April 27, 2005), The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business.

Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Thursday, June 12 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 600 executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network and hosted by Liz Claman of FOX Business Network.

More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, Best New Product or Service, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and new categories including Best Management Team and Best Corporate Environmental Responsibility Program.

LifeLock is being recognized as a finalist for Best Magazine Advertisement, Best Radio Advertisement, Best Newspaper Advertisement, Best TV Advertisement and Best Overall Company. One of LifeLock’s newest services, WalletLock, is a finalist for Best New Product. WalletLock™ works to cancel and replace all documents and personal identifying information inside a LifeLock member’s wallet if it is lost or stolen. CEO Todd Davis has also been nominated for the Best Executive Award for the second straight year.

“While I am personally honored by the recognition,” said Davis, “nothing happens here because of one person. Together, we have built a team that is dedicated to every consumer who has a reason to contact us. It’s a great honor for us that the national business community is recognizing that we have built something very special here.”

As the industry leader in identity theft protection, LifeLock requests on behalf of its clients that the national credit bureaus place fraud alerts on its members’ credit files, and requests that members’ names be removed from pre-approved credit card offer and junk mail lists. It is backed by a $1 million service guarantee.

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from among Finalists in final judging during the week of May 19. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May.

“ABA entries grew more than 30% this year, so being named a Finalist is more of an accomplishment than ever before,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. “It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.”
